Pearl Masterworks 80% maple 20% mahogany bonham sizes kit with sea foam blue to natural satin finish over tamo ash artisan ply.

And i got a crazy idea about a 12" x 4" shell suspended inside a 14" x 6" with 7/8 offset double lugs and a lime green glass glitter. What do you reckon mark is it possible?

Wow, not sure about a 12x4 inside a standard shell? how would you suspend it? Something to think about for sure...

Me. Well, for x-mas i'd like an Ayotte keplinger which might actually happen as my friend Ray is the NZ agent.
Good to see some of you guys still posting on here, we must think of a way to liven this place up.
Merry chrimbo everyone! santa

Post  T on Fri Dec 12, 2008 10:44 am

all i really want is a 10x8 rack tom and 20x18 virgin kick from a premier Genista series, preferably in Dansk Red, this would make all but 2 drumming dreams come tru!!!!

and if he feels like a moneybags, a nice Paiste Full Ride, and some hats, which i'm yet to decide on!!!

well i just got an awesome birthday present in November being a 1ply maple shell 30's cloud badge WMP Radio king snare drum in original condition!! Courtesy of a collaboration between our own Mark and my sister in New York. So i am still feeling pretty spoiled from that - this drum is in its case and resides on my bedside table! So if i wished for anything remotely similar for xmas i feel at the moment i'd just be being greedy - cheers

Yeah, it's a 96 in black lacquer with full length brass tube lugs (which weigh a ton!) 22x16", 15x15", 12x10" 10x9"
shells are 8ply keller. Sounds very different from an ayotte or DW - much more attack. You wana buy it?

oh dude don't tempt me...don't think i'd survive the lady friend beating if i bought that!, i am however keen on the staining/laquer idea for my snare, was looking at your samples and was wondering if its possible to do a light turquoise to natural finish fade?
