Double kicks

Post  Snipe on Sat May 03, 2008 7:52 am

Are those cheap double kicks advertised on Trade me any good? Does anyone know?
I'm just looking for a set to play around with, are they worth buying? Question

I think, they'd be ok why not buy a DW double off ebay US super cheap with our exchange rate. If you find it's not for you at least you'll get your money back.

A friend of mine bought one and the pedals are OK, but the connecting rod shit itself and was going to be as expensive to replace as a whole new set, so he bit the bullet and got a set of new Iron Cobras.

The pearl pedals are pretty sturdy, i've got an old crusty set which came from a church Rolling Eyes which i've had for about 6 years now and they still go hard. I bought the flash pearl ones that are about 800 last year and they are mean, and you can fiddle around with them a bit which helps wen ya start to get a good feel for double kick.

Do NOT Buy The Trademe Pedals!!

Post  Brennan on Wed Jul 23, 2008 11:01 am

I got a set of those lenker music shitters off trade me when i got my first kit and man they were a hassle. everything broke. the guy sent me 2 other pairs and all of them broke. pins, springs even the shaft of the third set.

Save your money dude and get some iron cobras or eliminators. Ive had my cobras now for just over a year and they are magic!!
