Cheap Keller Shells...

Post  gingadrummer on Wed Oct 14, 2009 3:07 am

www.drumgearonline.com

These prices seem to low to be true, still have to add hardware, but looks as though i could get a shell kit pre drilled, pre edged for bout the same as a Pearl vision etc.
I have seen other sites like this but not with pre drilled pre edged shells, which is the worrying part for me in doing a build.

Yeah, pretty good prices but it's always the shipping that kills – anything over a 20" bass drum won't go USPS
and once it becomes a DHL, UPS or fedex order your looking at $300US plus.

Also could be customs charges that includes freight costs.I'd check with customs, may be cheaper to get two parcels? If shells are good could be just as cheap to paint than wrap.
Very satisfying to build your own kit.

Yeah is satisfying but if I can offer any advice it's this... "measure twice, cut/drill once"

I still have a full set of keller 8ply's 10x8, 12x9,14x12,16x14 and 22x20" bass drum if anyone is after some that are already here– undrilled but 14 and 22 have black stain applied – I can edge them for a small charge.
