Interesting mongrel kit on tm

:lol:well how things hang around, i put that kit together in 1991 for a friends son who was doing a goth band thing,it was made up from bits left over from broken/damaged kits i had found ... the snare is 80's Lud 5" steel (only for those with faith) the toms are Vistalyte black & white diagonal (reglued cracks) bass drum is 22" Rogers early 70's with repair from memory and the floor tom is Rogers later 70's (i still have the original badges from these) but i did not put on the Luddy badge it now has but i did paint them with black aerosol (im amazed its still on) speed king pedal (but you cant get the replacement bearings for them in N Z ).I actually have a home recording of them,just to hear how they sounded together before i gave them to the boy.

no they sounded very poor ,put the rogers back with a similar vintage rogers would be the only way for me,the rest is rubbish(that is for vintage US drums) still better than most moderns to me.

want a laugh ... see someone has the same kit in a different Finish .. ha h a in the q&a
