D W crash ???

Post  DYNASONIC on Sat Mar 31, 2012 8:36 am

Surprised anyone notice the value on D W drums is dropping in NZ they have at least halved in value in the last two years , meanwhile in the USA the price on vintage Ludwig drums is constantly rising up at least 40 per cent in the last twelve months and vintage Gretsch have gone through the roof ?

Yeah, there's been a couple of good deals I went to view the 24" monster kit, very nice but pretty big sizes.
The old Ludwig stuff is making it's way on to many records, they record exceptionally well...

Cool yeah you see high profile drummers with big endorsements for DW ,Tama etc but when you see film of them in the studio you can see vintage 60's 70's Ludwigs or Gretsch drums actually used on the records ,its interesting to get sight of what is used out of sight of the corporate banners Foo Fighters a classic example.
