Trademe etiquitte
Excuse spelling? What is the general opinion in terms of Trademe comment. There is an OCDP snare on auction at the moment with a challange about the declared value. I would have thought anyone bidding for this would have a pretty good idea. I saw a Stagg kit described as "professional" which I thought about commenting in the questions as a likely buyer is probably new to drums and less likely to know. What do you think?

I think it's ok to advise a seller of what they have if they don't know, but I'd leave pricing to the buyers. Buyers have the opportunity to research so I generally find it annoying when watchers comment on the price.
However, i'd really like to correct this guy's spelling. At least he spelt drums right http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=563592399

Is this case the seller is right. He's got one of the OCDP custom shop
drums, made using keller shells. With those drums you really are paying for the
brand – they are not worth $1000-1500 but that's what the asking price was when
they were made.
Guitar Center brought the brand name and rights so the similar snares the questioners
of this auction are comparing to are chinese made. I still don't put it's value over $300 though.
I've played their drums with the vents... I don't think the vents do much.
