There goes my street cred - Dancing Queen

Post  paradd on Thu Jan 02, 2014 6:47 am

So anyways, I was listening to Dancing Queen by ABBA the other night and could not pick whether the high hats were 8ths or hand to hand 16ths. I could not find a free tab and there were Youtube covers of both versions. Does anyone have the definitive answer on this? I will not tell anyone you told me! Cheeers,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I feel I can regain some street cred now I have found this. Steve Gadd playing Dancing Queen.

Still after the answer to the original question. Apparently all the instruments were double tracked.

I'm guilty of playing that song a long time ago. I'm not guilty of learning how to play it properly though Smile

Andrew, this is better than the U2 version and they have Bjorn and Benny with them! Head on the block time - I will go with 8ths, there is a big open hh at the end of phrases that just has to be 8ths.
