shell wrap

Try Precision in USA for a quote. Their wraps are great quality, maybe dearer than you want? I paid around 700 including glue, grommets and customs fee for 5 drums.

drummaker.com seems to have the coolest although i think its prabably got a high cost association.

pick a pearl or a glitter base and then pick your shades from the color charts, theres only like 1000 shades or something stupid like that, but even better you can do fades and bursts with the shades!!!! they have a green burst pearl photo on there site it looks awesome

go to a sign writers supply shop - they have sparkle vinyl and other types which are alot cheaper than wrap, not a long term solution, but if you're on budget...

Wrap

Post  Bonham on Tue Dec 22, 2009 3:29 am

Im in Perth & bought some of the wrap off ebay thats advertised as "wrap old over the new" it looks good but is thin crap! It creases with any slight movement of the lugs.

Yep, that stuff is arse. But when faced with the severe pricing of delmar wrap
from the states it's probably the only option for some kits.

AMS (Australia Music Supplies) for intro level wrap. I got a new metallic blue wrap for a 16" floor tom for a Percussion Plus kit I put together & sold. The wrap cost me about $20AU alot thicker than the USA stuff & looked surprisingly good. The wrap from the states was expensive for what it was colour was great but just needed to be thicker.
